When I was in college I was on an exhibition gymnastics team at the University of Maryland called Gymkana. I truly loved being a part of this team and missed the team atmosphere a lot as I went on to graduate school and beyond. When I found CrossFit, it gave me the feeling of being on a team while also being challenged everyday in the gym. I started coaching in 2019 and have loved the learning process of growing as a coach! I have personally transitioned towards the world of Olympic lifting and have done 2 local meets thus far. I look forward to continuing to learn as a coach as well as helping the athletes I work with develop as well!
As a physical therapist and a coach, I am passionate about making the world of fitness and functional mobility accessible to all. I enjoy working with athletes of all backgrounds, however I am particularly passionate about working with women with breast cancer, athletes who are trying to remain active while returning from injury, and working with athletes in the adaptive world. I also serve on the Medical Advisory Board for Barbells for Boobs, and I am additionally a RAD Doc and Mobility Coach for Barbells for Boobs, which allows me to further connect my love of rehabilitation to my love of coaching.
