How to Lose 50 Pounds with the Help of True Core Nutrition?

The September Nutrition Challenge is right around the corner!

Not sure if it’s for you, guess what it is for EVERYONE!

In case you were hesitant to sign-up, let’s take a closer look at Ben’s journey, He has lost a total of 50 pounds!

1. Who are you and what do you do?

I’m Ben, I am an accountant at a local firm in Annapolis. I decided to join the world of CrossFit in November 2019. After just 2 months into my time at True Core, I decided to join the January Nutrition Challenge.

2. Why did you go the challenge?

I decided to do the Winter challenge because I had begun losing weight in the Fall, and decided that using a competition would help me to increase my results.

3. Did you see results?

During the Winter challenge I lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks!

More importantly I learned sustainable methods to lose weight. When trying to improve my eating habits before the challenge, I would have an incredibly strict meal plan and basically eat chicken and rice every meal. This would work for a couple of months but eventually I would fall off the wagon and regain all the weight lost. Throughout the challenge I was able to use the tools learned to develop a healthier relationship with food and create many healthy new habits.

4. Have you seen success in your nutrition since the challenge has ended?

Even though the challenge was only for a set period of time the tools and habits learned are life changing. In the aftermath of the challenge I have continued to use the tools and habits developed, and lost an additional 40 pounds. 

Although Ben has a busy professional career, Ben used the nutrition challenge as a starting point to develop a health relationship with food and created lasting habits. Ben’s story is inspiring and is just one of many that have seen lasting changes as a result of True Core Nutrition!
