Some people may believe that the new year is the time to completely overhaul their lives and set impossible goals that they will inevitably fail to achieve. However, the new year is an excellent time to look back on your accomplishments, assess what you could have done better, and set realistic goals for the coming year. This way, you can stay on track throughout the year while still allowing yourself some room to breathe. When you're working on a goal, it's all too easy to get sidetracked. It's natural for your mind to wander or for you to begin taking shortcuts, especially if your goal is big and long-term. Since a year consists of 365 days, and within that time frame, there will be times that you’ll stumble and lose track of your goals. However, the only way to achieve anything worthwhile is to stay focused and tuned in.
