What Do I Do with My fitness?

I didn’t go to the gym on Sunday. I didn’t even consider it. I took my dog on a long hike, the weather was just too nice to be inside. As the weather gets nicer, this will happen more often. I may go for a run, a hike, a swim, or take the kayaks out. This is one of the main reasons that I train, to enjoy life. I had a wonderful and fulfilling day outside of the gym because of the time and effort I put in the gym. I love the fact that I can sign up for a run at the drop of a hat or take my mountain bike out for the first time in months and not have to worry about lagging behind my friends. As podium week just ended, I want to remind everyone that fitness isn’t just about numbers in the gym or on the scale. It’s about an improved, longer, and more fulfilling life. I challenge everyone to take their fitness outside of the gym. Sign up for your first 5K, try stand up paddle boarding, or take your family hiking. We are fortunate to live in an area of the country that has both astounding beauty and a near limitless ability to challenge us with new and fun activities. CrossFit prepares you for anything and everything. Start testing that.Have fun. I’ll see you out there.Coach Danny
